Dr Ana Silva Guerra

Registered specialist in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery.

Trained at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon, Dr Ana Silva Guerra has been recognised as a specialist since 2013 and has pursued advanced training in facial surgery in Belgium, aesthetic surgery in Brazil, and oculoplastic surgery at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London.

  • Fellow of the European Board of Plastic Surgery and member of ASPS and ISAPS.
  • Part of the CUF Descobertas plastic surgery team since 2009 and of Lisbon Central's breast reconstruction group since 2014.
  • Author or co-author of more than 50 scientific presentations and multiple peer-reviewed publications.
  • Founded the clinic in 2017 with a focus on personalised, patient-centred surgical care.

Registered specialist in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery.

Dr Iris Mortagua Brito trained at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon and completed her specialty training in Coimbra, later undertaking international fellowships in Belgium, Dallas, Stanford, and Taiwan across aesthetic, facial, hand, and reconstructive surgery.

  • Regular scientific contributor with 80+ presentations, 18 published articles, and multiple national and international awards.
  • Scientific reviewer for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery journals and Associate Editor of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery since 2023.
  • International fellowship experience spanning four continents, covering the full spectrum of plastic and reconstructive procedures.

UK Patient Support

Continuity from Lisbon to Oxford

For UK patients, post-operative support from the two-week mark is managed by our NMC-registered Advanced Nurse Practitioners in Oxford, so you are never without clinical guidance after returning home.

Pre-operative Coordination

From your initial enquiry through to the day before your procedure, our UK team handles logistics, answers questions, and ensures you arrive in Lisbon fully prepared. All assessments and pre-operative communication are coordinated through Oxford.

Post-operative Follow-up

After you return home, your UK nursing team manages follow-up appointments, monitors your recovery progress, and maintains direct communication with your surgeon in Lisbon throughout your healing journey.

Direct Access Throughout

You will have direct access to both your surgeon in Lisbon and your UK nursing team. No routing through call centres, no generic advice lines, the same people, available throughout your care.

A Direct Relationship with Your Surgeon

You will have direct, ongoing access to your surgeon throughout your care, not a patient coordinator or a booking team, but the surgeon themselves. This continuity ensures accountability, builds trust, and means that the person who understands your case most deeply is always accessible.

Much of our work comes through patient recommendation, reflecting the long-term relationships and consistent outcomes we strive to achieve. Many patients remain with the clinic across multiple treatments and years.

The clinic integrates plastic surgery with dermatology, endocrinology, psychiatry, psychology, nutrition and physiotherapy, so when your care requires a broader perspective, the right expertise is already part of the team.
